Hey all decided to restart a reef after being absent for the last 6 years. Here's my progress so far at 1.5 months
-20g High AGA
-Eheim 2217 utilizing just carbon
-Phosban 150 with WM bio pellets
-EJ 150 heater
-Tunze 6015
-Rapid LED PAR30 x2
-Old school Tunze 3115 skimmer
Reason for using the filtration was that it was leftovers from my 215 Reef from years ago, a little overkill but it works quite well. So far I have 11lbs of live rock and 20lbs of old live rock I hope to re-seed and bagged "live sand". I am using eggcrate as a temp lid, more than likely gonna do a 1/4 acrylic top with a cutout and use birdnetting for gas exchange. So far just have a small occellaris clown. Will be doing a mixed reef of SPS- softies as it gets more established.
