Simple question 6205 impeller

Roger,

Cleaning out one of my 6205, this was bought in 2009 and I have different styles of Tunzes. Should the metal impeller shaft be rotating freely inside the outer assemblies, and are the outer assemblies supposed to be able to rotate a bit wrt each other? Itis soaking in vinegar right now all one rigid piece.

Many PHs are free to rotate unless they're gunked up trying to figure out if that's the case but I seem to remember this was always one piece ...

The magnet and propeller spin on the shaft which should be static if properly installed and the blue bushings are intact.
