Which salts have you used that dissolved COMPLETLY. No sludge, white residue, clouding. Just nice clear water.
thanks
thanks
Brightwells NeoMarine is not leaving anything behind. IO, RC, and the old RedSea formula all left residues.
good mix = seachem reefsalt
mixes good. good macros. it is cloudy for a few mins while it mixes, but clears up fast with nothing left in the bucket
How about DD H2O?
Ca and alk just tested at 430 and 8. I did not test mag but last time I checked it, it came in a tad over 1300.how are your numbers w BW?
Esv b ionic sea water system.
I don't remember oceanic leaving anything behind either.
Is the ESV difficult to use/balance?
Not difficult but a definite learning curve! Took me a little bit the first time because I read the instructions over and over.
The first batch I made up was awesome. Don't remember the numbers but they were on spot for me. I am about to make another gallon for my tank and will test alk and cal. Mg test is out right now.
The last batch I made, was a complete disaster. Total user error though! I tried doing 2 gallons (so you double the 1 gallon recipe) and forgot to double up on some stuff. After a lot of back stepping, I was positive I didn't double up on alk. In the end, I did though! So my alkalinity was north of 16dkh!
Lesson learned, write down your steps just so you have proof.
I know it sounds difficult and scary but I promise it is super easy! It is also way nice to be able to control the parameters. It mixes up clearer and cleaner than any salt I have ever used.
