I just stumbled across a very cool little fish store in Muncie. It's newer (10 weeks old) and small but they have a wide variety of live goods and the prices are unbelievable, even better than that place on the south side of Indy ;)

If you plan on making the treck down there I would call or email first to see what they have in stock. Did I mention they have a pair of picasso clowns !!! The website should be improving soon but as of now does not contain a lot of information.

I didn't see how much the picasso's were. They were from the owners personal collection. I just thought it was cool to see those somewhere other than online. I would give Brad a quick call and ask. He's a pretty cool guy

just a precaution: I recommend dipping any coral you buy here before adding it to your tank. One frag i got had a load of flatworms, and one had a nasty little crab in it, who loved knocking all my frags over at night now lol. Not saying dont shop there, just a precaution, they have great stuff

I help Brad from time to time and he ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS dips his corals before he even puts them in his tank. He doesnt have any flat worms in any of his tanks, fish or display coral tanks, so I highly doubt you got them from his place. I just checked with him and he said the only time you bought something was on July 24th, so flat worms would have shown up before now??? He also said this is the first he has heard of this and has sold over 200 corals in the last few months with out any problems, and you never contacted him about the problem?

Thanks cbrfire for the kind words. Kevin I am sorry you have flat worms, I can assure you we dip every coral we receive before it enters our tank, We have sold numerous corals since we have been open, and honestly this is the first I have heard of this. You bought on July 24th, you should have noticed a problem before now if you contracted flatworms from our place. I wish you could of responded by a email or pm and I would of told you our proceedure on acclimating and dipping our corals, instead of calling us out? I do not want to argue with anyone, I just thought I should reply, and felt he threw us under the bus with his comments. Kevin next time please email or call me to address any problems or concerns. Thank You.

don't worry to much. It is part of the hobby, and it happens. I am sure we will still make trips down to you.

Trust me Phil I am not worried at all, not sure I understand when you say it happens, and its part of the hobby? We opened this shop up to give people a place to go where they can get quality corals, and fish at great prices, and we plan to stay in the game for a long while.

I have been there and can say everything looked really nice. Ill be stopping in again in a couple days for a little walk around the shop.

I can vouge its a nice little shop. All the livestock appeared to be in good health and good quality. Its great if Brad from S.S.A is dipping corals for the hobbiest(alot of local shops dont) but its really up to the hobbiest to take the procedure further to guarantee the life of their tank.
Brad I also sent you a PM

I have also made purchases there both livestock and coral. There facility was clean and livestock looked healthy.

Brad

Checked out simply saltwater today. Got a few really nice pieces. They should look really nice in the 90. Thanks for the hospitality and of course the shirt.

The hot dogs were a a nice touch. I tried to frag it but it got soggy when I put in the tank.

Everything looks nice.
