Singapore in June

Heading to Singapore in June for work. Hope to get wet. Any suggestions?

A great city. I miss the the hawker stalls. One of the worlds great food cities.

Now on to diving. With all of the dredging and shipping the diving in Singapore isn't great. Look at the nearby islands in indonesia. I've dove Palau Tioman in Malasia, which was was good, but not great. PM me if you have any questions. Bali and the rest of Indonesia is close and cheap. Sipidan is also an option. The Philippines is also a possibility. I've dove most of the area, so let me me know if you have any questions.

Singapore is a great place. Like a second home to me Eat there, party like a rock star at Clark Quay, then catch a cheap flight to Indonesia to dive.

Yes I'm very excited to go. However I'm a little concerned now that you're telling me the diving doesn't really work there but you have to go to Indies

Indonesia isn't far. Tioman is an hour flight. Most people in Singapore dive the nearby Indonesian islands. How much time do you have?

Not really sure, ill be there at least 10 days for work. Any idea about how much for the plane fare from Singapore?

When I was last in Tioman, years ago, it was beautiful. I'm not sure how the recent development has affected the island. While not world class, the diving was good. Most sites are a fair distance from the island.

When I went, all flights went out of the old airport. I'm not sure about now. Definetly small non jets. While Indonesia has some of the best diving in the world, I doubt that many of the sites are going to be close to Singapore. If I was back in Singapore with only a few days, Tioman would probably be my choice.
