So I have a 1.5" drilled tank (did it myself) and bought a r-300 not thinking it through 100% but it has two 1" inlets for it.
I have the quiet ones 4000 pump and currently have it set up with a Y but its not a legit Y more like it I with a leg that breaks off.. if that makes much sense.
ABOVE THE "Y" I have a 1.5" ball valve to completely shut off flow below. That ball valve is a restriction in itself.
Obviously I know I can not run the 1.5" to the full potential but am curious if I should set this up differently? I kinda wanna control the flow to the fuge so it's not a ton of flow.
Should I just but a 1.5" bulkhead and have a straight shot into the sump/fuge? Just not use the other inlet?
Any suggestion or do you think this is good?
