single bartletts anthia question

I recently picked up a single bartletts anthia for my 57g reef, so far it has done well and is eating like a pig. Im fairly certain the one I have is a female. If kept singly, will the female turn into a male?

It may... depending on what other fish are in the tank, it may even "adopt" one as his girl
