Do any of you keep a species tank, with either just one fish, or a pair/harem/shoal of just one species?
I was wondering about this because I just picked up a Sustainable Aquatics-bred orchid dottyback for my mini-reef. Because I'm trying to replicate the look of a very specific micro-habitat (one similar to where P. fridmani are often found, with lots of nooks and crevices and rock covered with nephtheid soft corals), she's probably going to be my only fish. I thought it would be interesting to hear about other people's single-species tanks and the reasons behind them. Post pics if you can!
