I had a Six Line Wrasse for about six months, then out of the blue he jumped out of the tank one day, luckily I was in the house and was able to put him back in the tank.....everything seemed fine for about a week then he jumped out again while I was not home....anyone else have this problem??? What causes it?

Probably, you are lucky that it jumped out early. My six line killed half of the fishes before I found it on the floor

+1 Aqualticchaos, I have had 3 Six-Line wrasses over the years and never have observed aggression from a six-lined wrasse - but I have have never put more than 1 wrasse in my tank which could be your issue, not sure. Great fish for the tank and serves many useful purposes. If you are concerned about it jumping out, then cover the top of the tank with eggcrate or something.

I agree about the aggression. Mine killed a spotted mandarin about as soon as I released the mandarin into the tank. Poor guy never stood a chance.

Before, I don't believe people when they say 6 lines are evil not until I have an evil one! Have to get rid of him before he killed my clownfish and firefish.
