Sixline attacking my candycane hog

My pajama wrasse is attacking my new candycane hog fish as soon as he comes out of the sand. I put him in last night and as soon as he came out my sixlines went right after him and he dove again. any suggestions? will it subside? I don't have anywhere else to put him I hope it gets better. I was told there should be no problem with these two.

Sixlines are known to be very aggressive, your more than likely gonna have to remove one.

+1... 6 lines are really aggressive. My buddy had one in a 125gal (established wrasse) and than added a larger mystery wrasse and he damn near killed the mystery before he could get him out. First off a 6 line and mystery should never be in the same tank they are from the same species of wrasses sorta and not meant to be mixed. But a 6 line wrasse thats well established in a tank will go after other wrasses and things that look like them. Kinda like a Purple tang thats established and you add a CBB... like i did... the CBB died over night Poor guy the CBB was so beautiful too!

Sixlines are nasty. My sixline killed my mandarin. I kept attaking him savagely. Very sad.

I got the candy cane out overnight. He was easier to get out.

Your problems are not over. The psycho sixline will attack again. Stop sixline aggression, eat more mini sushi.

I agree, Sixlines are mean, never get another. The one I had killed one of my Clowns, when he went for leap I was very happy. I'd take the Demon Wrasse out of the tank.
