Sixline Won't Eat.

I have a Sixline that I got about 1.5-2 weeks ago in my 75g & I can't get him to eat. He spends all day swimming through all the holes in the rocks & I seldom see him. I've tried ORA pellets- the same thing it was eating at the store, & I've tried cyclopeze with no result. It literally shows zero interest in either food.

For the last 6+ months the only fish in the tank has been my Snowflake Moray so I'm guessing there might be a lot of live food currently in the tank & maybe that's why the fish isn't eating.

It isn't picking at the rocks or the sand- just lazily cruises through the tank going from one hole to the next.

Try mysis shrimp. There is a good chance that he is living off of the pod population in your tank. Is it's belly pinched looking? Just keep offering different things. Sixlines love to eat he won't holdout for long. Meaty foods are most tempting.

Another friend told me to try mysis- I'll have to pick some up tomorrow.

He looks healthy. Just cruises through the tank. No cuts, sores, spots, ect. I've just never had a fish that didn't respond to cyclopeze.

Thanks for the responses. It's just weird to have a fish that's non-responsive to food. :P
