Skeptics, here's the proof that LED grows colorful SPS's

I'm using dosing pumps to dose my daily Ca/KH - I'm using Kent Turbo Calcium (CaCl2) and Arm'n'Hammer Baking Soda (Sodium Bicarbonate) as my Ca/KH additive, using saturated solution for KH and adding 12 tablespoons CaCl2 to 1.7L (about half a gallon) RO/DI water.

You could refer to my build thread for equipments used :)

Thanks for sharing the information and nice build thread!

Acrotrdco,
Pls let me know what your custome color is in your 160W fixture, and how far your fixtures to the water surface is? I have the same fixtures as yours with original semi-leds. The SPS didn't seem to be happy. Some of them died and many of them looked so pale.

My tank is 120 Gal 48"x24"x24". I am running 2 X 160W with 3W blue leds on for 8h, 3W white leds on for 7 hours, and 30W white leds on for 4 hours. The distance from the light to the surface is 2". I don't use the optic lens, and most of my SPS is around 7" below the water surface.

Thx

Acrotrdco,
I found another thread from yours discussing about the custom color of your light. It was pleasure to read them all. You have nice shots of your coral too.

Thx.
