So I was surfing some of the other club threads and i saw someone designing his new tank and the placement in his house with this program. I got excited when i learned that the prgram is FREE through google and it's not a very complicated CAD program. I decided to download it and started to play around with it. The controls on it were very easy, but you still run into the problem of 3D placement on a 2D application. I figured everything out that I needed to start in about 30 mins and started to put together a 75 gallon tank. I'm not that great with programs like this but i was amazed at what i accomplished. Nothing but the tank is to scale, everthing else i just eyeballed. (the sump i think came out to be about 20 gals, lol)

Everything on there is totally from scratch, but whats nice about this program is you can go online and download different models that people put together. And i know for sure there have been other RC'ers that have put up models of there tanks. I'm sorry if this program had been out for awhile and everybody knows about it. But if not, i could see how something like this could be very useful.

Thats a man's pump! lol, on a 20 gallon sump (1' , 2' , 1'6"). The program is a whole lot more useful when you have all the dimensions you want. Like with this setup if knew the exact dimensions of the stand I could find out what kind of sump would fit nicely.

I can't find the thread that got me hooked on to it (which was a nice layout plan with his 125 situated in his house, all done in sketchup.) But here are some threads with designs way better then mine.

First off how do you know my name?!? lol. I'm sure I've posted it on here before... but thats so... formal... it scaires me

Second, I would love to see what other people can do with this program. I've seen other people use it but I don't know if they are master computor artist or something. It'll be nice to see what other local, "normal people" (don't know if that exist here) can do with the program. Even if you made something irrelevant I would like to see what other people have done.
