Skimmer Advice

I have an old Octopus 200 Skimmer which is basically worthless. The problem all lies in the pump. The manufacturer realized this and has now started using the Sicce. From some of the reviews I have read, those aren't to great either. I was really happy with Sedra on my euroreef. Can I use a Sedra on the Octopus? If so which one?

no reason that it will not work. check to see what size fitting is on the outlet side of you pump and go from there. i cant remember whats on my g4 but that pump would be fine. better yet go with the 3500 and put it as recirculating with a maxi jet feed pump.

Dave- My G3 has a Sedra 5000. It would probably compare in size to your Octopus
