Skimmer cleaning question

Would using a toothbrush to clean the inside body and collection cup scratch the acrylic at all?


Any harm in using one?

Toothbrushes are good, or you can use an old sump or hob sponge.

I use the sponge that came with a mag drive pump and and old aqua clear filter sponge.

Never thought of those but will be picking one up for sure. Until then i will use a toothbrush.

I use a toothbrush as well. You can also use a dish sponge too.

Baby bottle brushes also do a great job of cleaning!
