I find water and a toothbrush works just fine without taking the cup completely apart

Yeah mine did that one time when it fell from a 6ft shelf,didnt have to worry about cleaning it though because it also broke in 4 pieces and I tossed it in the trash.

Some super glue will fix that JK

Are you sure it's suposed to do that? It seems to me that it might leak back into the skimmer if it does not seal perfectly...
