I woke up and something must have clogged my skimmer's air tube and water was flowing into the cup and overflowed it and the skim mate that was in there is now in the tank. All fish look ok right now, should I anticipate a problem?
Maybe a bacterial or algea bloom. I was taking the cup off my Deltec and accidently dropped it in my sump.
Everything closed up but I threw in some carbon to help with DOC's and that was really it. I saw a bacterial bloom a little later but I never lost anything over it.
Yeah nothing long term severe i don't think...but who knows...just watch and find out....def add carbon...I do that occasionally and haven't lost coral...my worries would be with fish and infections personally...Don't stress over it though...
