Skimmer difficulty-- overflowing

I have a euroreef ES skimmer- don't know the model. It has been working fine until recently. I am having troubles dialing it in. The bubble column is overflowing into my collection cup and I don't know how to fix it. Has anyone else had this problem before or know how to fix it. I have tried adjusting the "exit water" part up and down and not much help.

Have to added something new to the tank like glue some types of food well make a skimmer overflow. Have you at the first time overflow skimmate back into the sump this will cause a skimmer to continue to overflow.

Cool, I did add 1 mL of Ca before directly into that compartment in my sump, but didn't think that would have that type of effect. I will try again later.

Why would that make a difference????????

1 ml of CA? That is not going to cause a skimmer to overflow.

What brand CA, dial, tide,palmolive? Haha

99% of the time with these skimmers the issue is that the venturi intake on the volute is plugged with debris such as salt, lime, etc. Clear that out by sucking a warm solution of RO and vinegar through the air intake line, and the problem is solved.

Problem solved. Thanks guys. Not sure what was wrong, but it works now.
