Skimmer For a 30g

Dear Jeremy,

From your experiance What would be your advise on a skimmer for a 30g Mixed reef tank with a about 10g sump. Nosie is an issue .

I was looking into the eshoppes but not sure.

I would recommend taking a look at the following skimmers:

Coralvue Octopus NWB-110

Vertex IN-80

Both of these are definitely going to be more than what you would need, but they will also work just fine on your size system, and give you room to play with if you ever upgrade.

If you want something more suited to the size system you are putting this on then take a look at either the eshopps PSK-100 or PSK-75. I would say up to a 45-50gal tank for the 75, and up to a 65-70gal tank for the 100. These would be sized a little more appropriately for your system, and both a bit more quiet than what the two above would be.
