skimmer for a 375g

I`m building a 375g tank I getting crazy already I want to buy a skimmer that don`t take half off my wallet I was thinking about a ASM G5 I got a ASM G3 on my 150g and I love it what do u guys think???

I am personally running a aqua C Ev180 w/ a mag 9.5 on my 125 and love it. I will be stepping up to a Ev 400 w a mag 24 and a modded 1" injector on my 375g that I'm setting up. That combo is absolutely awsome, and I absolutely love aqua c. Their products are great, don't break the bank, and their customer service is great.

AquaC EV-400 cost $800+ the ASM G5 is $573 or less now the question is the AquaC EV-400 is very much better than ASM G5???

I have an ev400 on my tank and love it. This thing rips!!!! One the best things about aqua c is their customer serivce as mentioned. Steve at aquac will answer emails within half an hour most of the time and will talk to you on the phone for hours to help you. I wouldnt trade my ev for any other skimmer. I run a huge huge bioload and it does wonders!!

I use a mag 24 on it. are you looking external or internal?

it will work better with a Reeflo 200,I like reeflo better than mag drive

Take a look at thebig octopuss skimmer. Its 549.00 I got a friend that has 1 & it really does well. Ive been looking at 1 for my tank also. Igot a 180 with a 150 gallon sump.

this thread seems to have some info on the reef octopus skimmers, my lfs has the big models but I'm not sure where they get them from. I just have a tiny PS2000 but from what my lfs has been saying is that the deltec's will do a better job if you have the money.

But it from reading in here I would go with the AquaC EV series specifically because of the customer service that is provided.

i am picky about my skimmers and I planned (and bought) a g-5 for my 400 . Then I thought it over and wanted something that will look good and preform so I went with the ATI bubblemaster 250.

check out the sequence skimmer. It looks great. Can go up to 1000 gallons. May be over kill but I think it is worth it.
