skimmer freak when I added Aqua Plus

Ya I wouldn't add this to a tank with a skimmer. Anything that gives fish a protective coating will cause the skimmer to go nuts. If you just want some dechlorinizer then use Seachem prime or some other product that without the protective coating.

Used tap to fill up, cycle completed, added 2 clowns today.

Starting to get brown spot on sand, diatom probably. Added 5 nassarius snail.

I need a faucet adaptor as I got a garden hose adap. on it.

Will need to use both cold/hot water as my water is around 40F right now.

I don't know whether you should use the hot water for your RO unit. I know in the instructions for mine it said not to use it. My water is cold when it comes out of my RO/DI, but I just heat it up with a heater.

Yes it best operates around 75F, but this just means that this is when you'll get the most water production. It doesn't have to be at this temp. Colder water will just decrease the water production. I just checked my instructions for my kent maxima RO/DI and it says NEVER use hot water or both hot/cold water.

Yes it does take a while, but its well worth it. Just get a big garbage can and fill it overnight.

Hot water is bad, cold water will SLOW production

WArm water 75 degrees is perfect. Using cold and hot to make warm does not matter. Do a search, this has been focused on several time.

I just opened the membrane housing, it's a 25GPD. The housing is 2.5inch cylinder, Can I upgrade it to 100GPD? From SpectraPure website, 25gpd = 1.8"x12" , 40-100Gpd = 2"x12".

My membrane is yellow and was covered of brown dust, Charbon dust?
