She was amazing, her horses look great and her clowns are breeding. I got a skimmer from her, but it's way too huge for my 50. Is there anyone who wants to trade an HOB or slim internal skimmer for this one? It's probably rated for a 100+ but I'm working with a 50gal.... and can't finish my sump until next year. Let me know!

You may be okay, ya know? I have a 60g cube with a skimmer rated for at least 120g. Granted a skimmer rated for 200g+ would be too much and not skim properly but I think you can get away with it. Allows wiggle room for more fish, more feedings, and in case something dies and you don't notice.
Thanks Anthrax15... love the name btw ;-) It's as much of a space issue right now as it is a tank issue. I don't have the footprint for it until I build my sump. I could hang it on back with a bracket, but my tank right now, (not set up yet) is 19" tall and 12deep, my footprint is tight in back. This thing is 25" tall by 8" deep... lol. It would look like I'm trailing a cigarette boat with a Prius, lol.
Dotcommer... I don't have even a brand, and I'm new to the skimming world. I've been out of the hobby for at least ten years, and ran a 20gal with 2x weekly water changes back then. Ccall could probably tell you more about ratings, etc. Her tanks look great, and she knows what she had more than I do.
I AM NOT looking to up myself here, she was awesome to sell it to me. I just don't think I can use it, even when I get my sump done, this would be waaaayyy too much for a 50gal. Thanks everyone =)
