skimmer going nuts

Did anyone else have their skimmer foam like crazy after adding part 1?

Granted my tank has had a low bioload till now. This is the first time I've had uncured rock in it. I more then doubled the amount of LR in the system.

Yes, mine went wild for the first 2 days. It settled down last night, and runs fairly clean now.

Ya mine is going nuts. Thick white foam. I cant even run it while im not home or it will overflow everywhere.

Ours went pretty wacko also but we added some medication for red slime that contributed. A suggestion is if you have a drain on your skimmer, you could use some tubing from the skimmer drain to a gallon jug (or sink drain if you are lucky enough to have one close) to enable longer run times for your skimmer.
