I am shopping for a high end skimmer that will work excellent in my current system and also give me room to grow and still be more than enough. I currently have a SRO Int 3000 on my 120 gallon with a 60 gallon basement sump. I was looking between a vertex royal exclusive 250, Bubble King Supermarine 250 or and ATB elagence 300 are all of these to much skimmer for my current setup and if not what would work best to fit my needs. also getting a new skimmer so I have a backup if a pump where to fail or was stuck waiting on parts. I think I would like to grow into a 240-300 gallon setup with it. Also any other suggestions on skimmers would be appreciated.
