Skimmer help.

Hey Everyone,
I have read several threads on skimmers here lots of great info. I'm looking to pick up a skimmer in the $300 area. Going in a sump. My tank is 125 gallons. Have about 7 reef safe fish all smaller variety. Close to 90 pounds live rock. My question is what skimmer is easy to use, quiet, and how big do I need to go? Thanks for any info.

So many opinions on whats the best..
Do you have a sump to put it in?
or do you need a "hang on back" style?

If you have a sump then its hard to go wrong just going here and picking one that is in your budget and fits in the space you have..

They do a good job of listing what size tanks/bioloads is good for..
Not too much of an issue going a bit "oversized"

I only have used Aquamaxx and currently a Simplicity which I really love and very reasonable price.

i recently replaced the Red Sea protein skimmer than came with my S650 tank and put the ASM G-1 in the sump. Its so much simpler than the Red Sea and is working great. Highly recommend it, approx $300.
