The water level in my skimmer has seemed to drop about a 1/2 inch or so. I am not producing any skim in the waste cup and I have tried adjusting the water level from the pump, but then the water level in my sump gets too high. I am not sure why this is happening, since it has been working fine for the last month. I changed the air stone, thought maybe it just wasn't producing enough bubbles, but that didn't do anything. There is a space between the inlet and head of the skimmer of about an 1 inch. I am cycling my tank for about 5 weeks now, I had to empty that waste cup almost every other day, due to waste, now it produces nothing? Any suggestions? I don't know if the water level has always been at the same point and I just didn't notice because it was filling up with so much waste since I was cycling with live rock
