Skimmer Issue

Hi
I purchased a Bubble Magnus curve 7 to go into a sump that had not arrived yet
The manufacturer said it would fit but of course it did not
The skimmer chamber is 6.75 x 12 The tank size is a 116 corner so I have limited space under the cabinet. I am having an issue finding a small enough skimmer to fit the sump and tank size

I feel my options are
1.) a half a--Ed modification to the sump
2.) Find a new undersized skimmer

Any suggestions

The AquaMaxx CO-1 would fit although it would be slightly undersized (rated at 90-175 gallons), the CO-2 would be the perfect skimmer but it needs 7-1/8" width
