there should be an airline with a control valve of some sort on it--crank down the air and or flow through the skimmer.
The overall flow is usually controlled on the skimmer pump

unfortunately not for this model :( thanks though.

maybe over time.... does anything help reduce them? I just don't want to hurt anything.

How long has the skimmer been installed?

... and how high is the water level that the skimmer is sitting in?

Can you post a picture?

only a few hours...

I actually have it in my little sump on top of the mag 3 pump.(sine the both can't fit in there :( ) The Mag just pushes the water int to it, I do not believe water level matters for these? plug and play, no adjustments.

Skimmers take on average around 2 weeks to fully break in. It may produce micro bubbles for a few days before it begins to break it.

On skimmers where the water cascades out of the body into the sump, more bubbles can be created depending on how far the water falls into the sump.

Also, these types of AquaC skimmers are extremely sensitive to fluctuating water levels. Is it in a compartment in your sump where the water level remains constant?

I would suggest running it in a compartment where the water level is between 8-10"

great, thanks for the help.

It does have a bit of a way when it flows up, bc I raised it to fit the pump in.... I see how it does for a week or so.

The water level does remain fairly constant, but with all of my tinkering today its been all out of sorts.

No problem, hopefully they will begin to clear up. If they don't there are a few things you could do to try and prevent them from making it into the display tank. So keep us posted.

Hopefully some other members who are currently using this skimmer will offer some tips for you too.

Good luck.

I would try putting some live rock under where the skimmer return is coming from it may break up the bubbles. I have tried to put something like a cup in place so that the bubbles dissolve before they hit the rest of the tank.

i dont have the urchin but i have the remora with the mj 1200 and NO sump so you can imagine all the bubbles got dumped eight into the display...

over time it will start doing less bubbles and collecting more but mine never flly stopped spitting out bubbles and i must say im very dissapointed with remora after seeing so many 5* reviews.

yeah, I need to get it somehow away from my return... unfortunately looks the way I have it set up to be the only way :(

Well, I think it is dead, my first death in 8 months :( It may be able to recover, but I doubt it. It looked sooooo good until the bubbles came in, like a shag carpet.
