Hey guys!
Im using a diy in tank cc skimmer it works ok but looks bad.I only have 4 1/2in of clearance behind the tank(Coralife I think will not fit). The 75g tank doesn't have a overflow nor sump.Has anybody ever used a Bac-Pac 2R or a Aquac Ramora?Does anyone local have one they want to sale?Any ideas?
Thanks

Hey Buzz! I've used an AquaC Remora Pro on my 92 and I loved it!! I thought it worked just as well as the ASM G3 I've got in the sump now. Unfortunately, I've already sold mine. I would go with the Mag 3 drive pump on a 75. Later dear!!

I had the same problem with my tank. I ended up draining 80% of my water into buckets and scooting the tank and stand out together to about 8 inches from the wall so I could put a overflow on it. Then fillled it back up and added the sump so I could move everything down into there. I wish I had done it before when I set it up but it didn't occur to me at the time that I need all that... That happens a lot in this hobby! :)

Look for an AquaC Remora. I used one for 3+ years and it worked great! I found mine on Ebay (be sure to check feedback, I never buy if under 98%)

Good Luck!

Be careful during the break in period. Certain tank additives can make it foam EXCESSIVELY (like 4-5 cupfuls an HOUR). The owner of AquaC readily answered my questions and gave me ideas on how to break it in (i.e. raise collection cup as high as it will go, do a large water change with no additives)

Good Luck!
