So I had a AquaC EV120, which is setup as a great skimmer. I thought the spray injection was a little loud so I decided to try out a different skimmer. I purchased an Octopus DNW-150. By having an external skimmer I could turn the sump compartment into a refugium. The problem is the Octopus DNW-150 is louder, not the air it's sucking in, but the pump. Should I have known this beforehand. From the forums and a few I people I talked to I thought this was going to be a quiet skimmer.
