I have a 75 gallon tank with a ReefOctopus 6 skimmer. I have been using powerheads and oddball pumps I have had around the house, but the shaft broke on the one I was using so I need to get a new pump. Anyone out there have this skimmer, and if so what pump are you using to send water to the skimmer? I have used Maxi-jet 1200's and most recently a pump from an old coralife super skimmer, but with these I never really opened the skimmer up all the way. Any suggestions?
