Skimmer pump impeller damage

I have a Cone2 that seems to work fine, pulls plenty of junk. I was cleaning it the other day though and found the impeller to be in pretty rough shape:

Not really sure how the hell this happened.

If the skimmer is working does this thing need to be replaced? $80 is pretty dang steep.

Toss.. that seal is broken, and lucky you found it because a rusty magnet can take down sps tanks. Call marine Depot to see if they can send you a new one. Show them that pic.

Ah this skimmer is like 5 years old. I got it new from Ali.

You are better off not skimming than having that in your tank.

I think avast has the impellers cheap for the psk 1000. Assuming that’s the pump inside the C02.

Is that a Sicce impeller?
I might have a spare one. Check the back of your pump for a model number or wattage drawn.

The pump is a Shark 2.0 which is apparently some kind of modified Sicce.

I’ll look for the impeller; I know it fits a Sicce PSK 2500.
I also have the impeller from a Bubble Magus that resembles the Sicce
