Skimmer Qualifications

When it comes to choosing skimmers, does a higher air intake necessarily mean better performance? TIA!

yes , but this also depend on the skimmer body to : skimmer and neck size.... if you pull for example on 4.5" neck on 8" skimmer body 20-25LPM it will work good . and if you pull more then that you going to have problem.... now it's also depend on the skimmer height and when you change the dkimmer dimension everything change again.... since if it's wider you need to pull more air to get those # on the neck...
