doese it effect skimmer performance if the skimmer is tilted and not completley level?

i just realized my stand for my sump is tilted.

i was disapointed with its performance and im thinkin this might b the issue

it doesn't have to be perfectly level, but if it's a noticeable tilt then
yes, it will affect performance. If it's significantly tilted it can affect the uniform rise of bubbles at the air/water line.

what kind of skimmer?

its a reef dynamic ins 135e for my 75 gallon tank

Funny you say this, my RD 135 has a slight lean it it as I can't get it to stand directly on the base. No performance issues tho

ive had the skimmer about 3 weeks

my skimmer probly has more than just a slight lean as its pretty noticable that u can see the water in the collection cup higher on one side.

im gonna put the sump on the floor so it can operate on a level surface
