Skimmer question

Could i use a maxijet 1200 to replace the lost pump on my CPR backpack skimmer?

yes, try mod'n the impeller.

we have a NW on the maxijet and the skimmer is really great now.

ok i messed wth the damn skimmer for 45 min and got my hole room wet and even hosed down my girlfriend and my bed...cant sleep nonw. I cant get the thing to VENTURI!!!

Your skimmer will perform better with the maxi-jet and the intake designed for it (the link ereefic posted).

please get a maxi jet it will work better (i have one on mine). RIO's are junk and can destroy your entire tank!

well i have the spare MJ just thought that the backpack was supposed to use a rio...i ordered the venturi adapter thingy...thanks for everyones help!
