Skimmer Recommendation

Can you guys give me any recommendations on a skimmer sub $400 thats rated up to at least 300 gals Looking to replace my undersized swc160 cone.

I have a like new SRO 5000 that I ran on my 375g for less than a month. I replaced it with a BK Supermarin 250, quite frankly, I think the SRO pulled out more nasties than the BK. The model number is SRO-PS-5000internal. I was keeping it as a back up, but it's just taking up space. It can be picked up in Broward for $400 firm.
Please PM me your phone number if you would like pictures.

Hey John, look into the Coral Box d700 or their new cloud 9. I just got a CB d500 and its doing a very good job. And i havent even tuned it yet.

SROs you can't go wrong. even when there are issues Coralview are very responsive and willing to help. I went Regal SSS for my 330 only bc of clearance issues. Can't really say anything about it to be honest bc bioload in my tank isn't even close to light yet. But it still pulls out stuff and it is very consistent. The main thing for the skimmer is to match bioload to rating of the skimmer, too small or too big you are bound to run into trouble. Plain and simple. You can probably find a decent SRO used for our tank size for around your budget. I have a RLSS DB10 as my back up but I'm not sure I wanna part with it although it is a shame having it sitting in a box.
