Skimmer Recommendation

I am looking for a recommendation on a skimmer that can operate in 6" of water (bad sump design, I know...). I have a 75G with a high bio-load.

Well after using many skimmers, my vote goes to Lifereef. I have been running the svs-24 model for last few years and love it. Been solid for me on my 105 highly stocked sps tank.

I am happy with an Octopus on my 270. Smaller versions would work better for that sized tank. I upgraded from a Vertex, which was also good, better for the price, but undersized for my tank. I used a lot of skimmers before these two and wasn't happy with any.

I would go needle wheel or similar on that sized tank. Lifereef or similar designs might be cheaper and easier to operate on a much bigger tank, but all are too big for a 75.

I really like my vertex omega 150, perhaps the 130? Bulk reef supply has them on sale for the Black Friday sale.

I went with the Vertex 130 from BRS as for the price looks like the best option. Thank you all for your input.
