Skimmer recommendations for 300g tank

Looking to pick up a used 8ft 300g tank next week from a local reefer. It will be a slow build process (probably 6-12 months total), so I'm just brainstorming equipment now.

What is a good skimmer for 300g's without breaking the bank?

Aquamaxx is worth a look.

^^yep. Go with a cone 6.

take a look at the AquaMaxx EM 6 also, it can save you an additional 100.00 and will be enough for a 300 with room to spare. If you want to spend more then go for the cone. I personally don't think you will see that much of a difference between the two. EM holds a lot of water and big enough for that system.
