Skimmer Return

The return for my external venturi skimmer is at the bottom. My question is can I run the pipes up over the wall of the sump or should I put it through a bulkhead in the side?

make a stockman pipe like this one(pic below). the valve on there to control the level in the skimmer. make sure the "t" fitting is below the level of the reducer cone on the skimmer.
what brand of skimmer is it?

It's a Precision Marine E100.

Spazz, how does the Stockman work and how is it any different than the Durso? Will using it have any affect on the performance of the skimmer?

This is my first skimmer so I don't know what kind of pressure comes out of the return.

isnt the durso a type of drain for inside the tank?
