Roger, does the blue air-screw of the skimmer have to be in?
1) On my 9015 i notice that if i take the screw out totally, that the skimmer runs totally silent (when it is in, there is the gurgling noise).
2) Also the further out the screw, the wetter it should skim, so would removing the screw entirely removed afford me the wetest possible skimmate?
3) i think i've read that if the screw is not in that the skimmer wouldnt "self-clean" when i remove the cup - is this true?
