skimmer stand

I need to make a skimmer stand, Im using eggcreate and PVC is it ok to use pvc glue for the joints.? this is in sump skimmer

? yes you use PVC glue for PVC
or are you asking if the PVC glue can be used to bond to the styrene in the eggcrate?

For mine i got 4" pvc joints drilled holes and Zip tied the whole thing together, I needed to raise it a bout 1/2 inch so i added caps. You should be able to just ziptie the crate to pvc pipe as well just remember to drill holes for water flow.

pvc glue is used to assembly aquarium plumbing all the time, just make sure to follow the directions for adequate curing time before putting it in contact with water.

You know you can also use a glass block, looks cleaner.
Yes, PVC glue is fine, but usually I just push them together w/out gluing for something that does not have water pressure to deal w/

First time with acrylic.
