Skimmer suggestions

I am interested in opinions of which skimmers you would suggest for a 12G and 28G nanocube that is quiet but effective and will fit (somehow) in the nanocube set-up.

I wouldn't bother with a skimmer on a 12g system, most likely. I have a CoraLife that seems okay for a 29g system, but there's no objective data on skimmer performance.
