skimmer upgrade

I'm sick of my bubble magnus... its good one second, then over flowing the next... I'm considering upgrading to a
Skimz SN143 Monzter Mini Protein Skimmer. Anyone have one of these? the reviews are good. If I cant find a local used skimmer that can do a 90g under heavy load I'm ordering one later this weak.
 
I'd check the coralvue website, specifically their outlet store link. You'll find some great deals there. They don't have anything that would work for you at the moment, but when the good deals do come up, they don't last long. So it doesn't hurt to check in on a regular basis.

Last year, after they discontinued their Reef Octopus Diablo line, I was able to find a great deal on the Diablo External recirculating DCRS 250.(up to 600 gallon systems) It normally retailed for around $750 and I got it for just over $400. Brand new in the box with an upgraded pump included shipped directly from CoralVue.

I know a friend in the Ozarks that has two of those used for about three months in a failed pet store. they have them in storage, last time he offered me one for $200. they had one of the even bigger diablo's barley used also. I'm going to see if they still have them when I go to visit next time just to see if I can flip them at the LFS lol.

I spoke with them and I'm heading up there this weekend, if I haven't found a deal by then I'm picking up a octo 150 they have in stock. I really would like a DC pump but the prices on those are a bit to high for my taste.
 
Ive been looking at as well as recommended by the corner reef to look at skimz skimmers. anyone know anything about them?
