I have a Coralife Super Skimmer 125 (rated for 125g), that I used on my 55g. It skimmed great, as long as I dialed it in correctly. I have since upgraded & it's for sale: $100.

had a coralife ss125 and it served me very well. although some instances people have trouble fixing the microbble problem but otherwise it was a really good skimmer for the price

cpr bakpak 2 ROCKS. I have one running on my 20 long, and it consistantly pulls out crap in large amounts from this small tank!

I really like the euro reefs or asm g-line for in sump and the aqua c remora or cpr backpack for hob ( in that order ).

this is one area that you definately want to buy the best you can afford. i don't think you will go wrong with a Euro Reef or ASM in your sump.

Go with an ASM or a used Euro-reef. That'll get ya the most "bang for your buck". I believe the G3 is 25" tall, so make sure that you have enough space under the stand.

oach is selling an ASM G3 for 190.00, it's in great shape and has only been used for 6 months. Might wanna check that out.

I got a AquaC ev180 a few weeks ago and I like it. Still breaking it in and dialing it in. It is way better than my Berlin was. I have a Berlin in the garage that I'll sell you cheap to get you started. No pump.

My vote is a G2 or maybe a G3 which would be I bit oversized for your tank. The ASM's work fantastic, easy to modify, inexpensive and it is dead simple to run, no "dialing in" required. Set the height of the stand pipe and you are done.

I have a G3 and I love it! The gunk it pulls is astonishing!
Be warned the smimate smells really bad but that makes me happy because it's not in my tank. My wife hates it.... :)
