I have been skimmerless for the last month & my tank seemes to be flourshing, looking for some opinion's on going with no skimmer, could the asm g6 been over-skimming & pulling out 2 much of the good stuff?

This is a fine line to cross I think. Some corals do better without and other to better with a skimmer. I really think it depends on whats in your tank.

I have a fish-only 5 tank grow out system with a 10 gallon sump. ONLY 90 gallons with 7-800 clownfish juveniles--no skimmer.

I feed heavily three times a day.

I do a lot of mechanical (siphon tank bottoms and change 100 um filter once or twice a day) and chemical filtering (PURA pad, change every 2 weeks), bioball biofilter, and water changes (20% or more per week). I do run a 40 watt UV.

My water is clean and clear, and the fish are healthy and thriving!

I have never had a skimmer, on my grow out tanks or display, I do have one, brand new (in the box) just opened to read directions. Everything seems to be doing fine.
