Skimmers, best and worst...

Seth I have recently change out all my skimmers to remora or remora pros, imo Hands down the best, easiest to use most uncomplicated easiest to clean thing ever plug in a pump and you are running almost no tweaking or anything, for 200 you could also go with an EV 120, stay away from the prizm. I have gotten 3 remoras for 40-50 bucks and 2 remora pros for 120 each so they aren't expensive if you buy them used and like I said positiviely WONDERFUL, I'll put my skimmate down against anyones anyday.

The Octopus is great, but would that do more than the sea life systems coendraft the skinny has for me?

I used 2 CPR Bak-Pak Skimmers with the "bio-bale" removed on a 75 for about 6 years with no problems. Now CPR makes a dual Bak-Pak for less than 200.

these ASM's look nice, but theya re a 'lil' ove rmy budget, but they come witht eh pump and everything...

i still keep goign back to skinnys, that looks like a beastly skimmer

I think a remora could handle a 75g no problem and a remora pro would run even better I run the pro on my 90 and my 120 although I had a regular remora on the 90 for a while till the pro came in and the remora was doing really well on the 90 I upgraded the pump and put the pro on to move the remora to the 55 which I had originally bought the remora for.
