Skimmers going bonkers!!!

My skimmers been really foaming to the point that i cant "skim" Its just overflowing with bubbles. The only thing i have done different in the past few days was i used dr tims eco balance in my tank a few days ago (ironically the next day the skimmer was acting up) Soo has anyone ever used the eco balance and that happen? I used the sample he gave me (for a 60 gallons of water, my tank is over 130 gallons volume) What can i do to stop the foaming? I was thinking of changing out the carbon to help take out whats causing the foaming... Its literaly looking like someone dumped soap in my skimmer..main tank looks good .. Everything looks good, No discoloration or closed polyps ect ect. I have tried adjusting the flow as well...heres a pic to show you minus the cup on top..

its probably that dr tims. i would go skimmerless for a bit.

Open the wedge of skimmer all the way to low the water level in the skimmer's body and slowly adjust it later.In case it is still overflow, just run it like that for couple days. I would not turn off the skimmer, it keep good oxygen level in the tank.

Yes I have used the 2 part before.(the grey kind you kneed) . but that was awhile back when I mounted them, about 3 months ago... So I don't think that's the issue

The 2 part will mess with skimmers for upto 48 hours after adding even a little bit to the tank.

Other things that can cause the skimmer to go wild is Amquel, NovaAqua, Prime, and sometimes feeding fish anything with fish oils. Salmon can make the skimmer a little whacky.

Aduming nothing is dead in your tank, I'd pull your G3 out and thourghly clean it out including the pump. There may be something in its body that's causing it. I had this problem when I ran my g1x

Well I havnt added 2 part epoxy in forever as well as any of those other products you mentioned. The skimmer was cleaned 2 months ago before I set up my frag tank. It bubbled a lot when i overdosed with the amino acids but I turned it off for 24hours and started it back up and worked like a charm. I havnt doses any aminos since this started. Later on this week ill do a 25 gallon water change and see if that helps. But for right now I'm leaving it running so I wont have low oxygen in the tank. On a good note my pink boobies just started 2 new eyes and my goldeneye chalice is starting another "ring" of eyes....

Yes I'm using Eco balance as well as waste away. I use the recommend dose on the waste away bit ise only 1/6 the recommend dose on the Eco balance. And I can say it works good. You won't be disappointed with it

Just bought waste away... hopefully it works. Are you using a bio pellet reactor Brent?

No bio pellets.. I'm using macro algaes instead

I made that mistake of adding a unwashed new filter sock 1 time, never again! But no this wasn't from that. It was the Eco balance. Talked to Dr Tim and he agreed. So he told me to go with a 1/4 dose
