Nice, mine should be hear tomorrow. If you read the mod thread, that seems to be common with the venturi not restarting. Did you do the o-ring replacement? I have a couple laying around so I'll probably do it before I put it on the tank.

I didn't realize there wasn't a drain on the NW-150 either. I guess I'll have to drill it out. Yikes!

I havn't drilled mine out yet... if you do yours let me know how it goes.. I was thinking of doing the black underside of the cup rather then risk the acrylic breaking. Yeah, I've read the entire octupus skimmer and skimmer mod thred I do have the O ring in I have a large verity pack I got from harbor freight. I taked to the the seller and the manufacturer says that there should't be a gasket or O ring in the section between the venturi and the pump. people are putting it in there by mistake. its actually a spare for the other section.
