Hi All
On recirculation skimmers should one install a separate pump and pump from the sump (chamber 1) to the skimmer and return the skimmer output into the second chamber.
This pump to match the specs of the skimmer says 1500, 2000 or 4000 lph. This will allow for a positive flow of water through the skimmer at all time but add an additional pump to your configuration.
I am currently feeding my skimmer from the overflow and bypass the excess via a Y piece.
