Skimming and microbubbles.

I am on my third skimmer for my all in one 45 and it is great with one exception. It is a hob aquamaxx hob-1. Runs and skims well, adjustment is easy, so much better than the others I've tried. Except for the microbubbles. Can't get rid of them. I tried putting filter floss in the output tube but still doesn't help. Any tricks of the trade folks can share?

How long has it been running?

Skimmers often need to break in, mine took 6 days to stop producing microbubbles.

It's been going for about a month. I read a tip about replacing the time junction on the outage with an elbow junction and keeping the return up out of the water, will give that a try.
